Insurance
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your insurance provider to verify mental health coverage and how your specific plan compensates you for therapy services. Reduced fee and sliding scale spots are offered on a limited time basis and based on availability.
I recommend asking your insurance provider the following questions to determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Do I have an out of pocket? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Do I have a co-pay? If so, what is it?
- Does my plan limit the number of sessions that I can access per calendar year? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician for services to be covered?
Payment
I accept all major credit cards as forms of payment. Payment is due at the time services are provided.
Cancellation Policy
We will find a date and time that works for you. If you are unable to attend session, please give at least 24-hour notice to avoid a charge for a late cancellation or missed session. You may text or leave me a voicemail. As a reminder, insurance does not reimburse for last minute cancelations or missed appointments.
Good Faith Estimate Notice
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
